Downtown Cafe  is centered in historic Downtown Bristol. We are located in a building built in the mid 1800’s.  The Downtown Café is your typical hometown Cafe and Lounge with a staff who will make your visit a friendly one.  Owners, Hector and Joe will always make every effort to accommodate our guests.  Our bartenders are professional, well mannered and will never leave you waiting. We offer a happy hour that will really make you smile. Plus Friday’s happy hour includes a complimentary food bar. Every night of the week we also have a limited menu of hot and cold sandwiches and a variety of bar snacks and specials. Our home page has our hours of operation. Most of our nights and weekends are full of variety & entertainment that will keep you coming back for more.  If you are a musical entertainer and are looking for a place to create and relieve some of your daily stress, you just have to check out our Open Mic nights and acoustic and electric.  How is that for variety??  The Downtown Cafe' is also host to many local bands on Friday and Saturday nights, featuring a wide variety of music from Hard Rock to Classic Rock, Jazz and Blues even Country.   For listings and band website links of our upcoming shows, you can check out the links to our monthly calendars.  You may also see the entertainment listings in The Hartford Courant or Music After Dark in The Advocate.
